Don't condemn my opinion just because it isn't yours
It is infuriating to me that we cannot state our opinions without upsetting someone. I am entitled to my opinion just as much as anyone else. I don't state my opinions because I want to argue, offend someone or change their view. I state my opinion because I have one and because I am a blogger. Other's share for different reasons and all of their reasons are just as good as mine, if not better. However, it makes me SO sad that no one can't state what they believe without hurting someone else's feelings.
I am a blogger. I write what I feel, what I know, what I see and what I believe. I write blogs filled with these things and sometimes I post an article that probably offends someone in some way. What makes me so sad about this is that someday when I'm blogging, I am going to write something that someone disagrees with and they are going to send me to the grave for it. I'll lose my job, I'll lose my home, and I'll probably lose some dignity, but in the end I won't regret it. I did what I believed was right. I wrote what I believed in despite the anger it would bring toward me.
Why can't this be a world that shares what we believe in? Why do we have to condemn others because their views are different from ours? I want a world where we can believe in vaccinations, God, science, books, tattoos, no tattoos, no vaccinations, and still LOVE and CARE for each other. Despite our differences, we can talk, not argue.
When did we become so sensitive about everything? When did someone saying they believe in God or that they support Obama become a reason to condemn them? I am an educated person. I make educated decisions. I research, a lot.
I love this country because I have the freedom to say these things, but if we continue the way we are it won't be like this. People are scared. I am scared. I fear every week that I'm going to say something that will really upset someone. But I refuse to feel like that anymore. If you feel that you have an unpopular feeling worth sharing don't let sensitive people stop you.

I can write, and I can say what I feel is necessary. However, the more time people spend judging and hating someone because of their opinion is more time spent toward destroying our freedom and the beautiful minds this country creates. Be open minded. I'm not asking you to change your opinion on any subject, I'm just asking you to not condemn others for theirs.
